Good morning to you all on what is a very snowy day, here in the Netherlands. The kids were more than chuffed to grab their snow boots and head out on our daily venture aka.. the school run! It's still snowing now, although faintly -still that's enough for me!
I have a card to share this morning and I had the best time making it. I took my inspiration from the current "A Passion for Papertrey" challenge -inspired by a book. Ok, so I don't enjoy reading, but I do love the films! Have you guessed it? Of course...... Harry Potter! Where would Dumbledore be without those sweet, lemon delights? :)
I used Papertrey ink "Dot Spot" stamp set to create the wrapper along with some "Lemon Tart" cardstock which I embossed with a dotty embossing folder.
The sentiment on the inside reads "You are so SWEET" from the "Say It With Style" stamp set.
I don't have a "Papertrey Ink" alphabet, so I used my "Victorian Alphabet" by Waltzing Mouse. A couple of adhesive gems and a co-ordinating envelope later -voila!
A sweetylicious card perfect for any witch or wizzard!
Other: Adhesive Gems, Memento-Rich Cocoa ink.
Tools: Dotty Embossing Folder, Circle Nestabilities.
Do you love books, or are you addicted to all things "Papertrey Ink"? Head on over to the "A Passion for Papertrey" blog to check out the challenge and some pretty cool inspiration too!
Thanks for visiting today... Katie

As a big Harry Potter fan I can certainly appreciate the sherbert lemon connection - fab card Katie. Hope the snow doesn't get too bad - it's snowing here too but not hard enough to settle.

I love HP too - LOVED the books and the films!! I love your "out of the box" idea to make a sherbet lemon and how appropriate to use Lemon Tart CS too!!

My guy always says that if a book is good, it'll be film...! Well HP is a perfect example isn't it?!
